Network Marketing Plus Internet Marketing Equals Leveraged Marketing
Author: Thomas Hernandez
Network Marketing has always been perceived as a 'Word of Mouth Advertising' type industry. A person signs up with a company and spreads the word about the product, business opportunity, or service they represent, and anyone that signs up along the way will do the same. This is the basic structure of a traditional network marketing company.
Now, let me ask you a question:
If you could get your message in front of massive amounts of people without ever having to physically talk to them, and have this message attract your target audience to your offers, would it be worth learning about?
Of course it would!
When you take network marketing and internet marketing and put the two together, you create a highly targeted, highly leveraged marketing machine.
So how does it work?
Basically, the internet allows you to create your own marketing system that will spread your unique message to your target audience 24/7, 365 days a year. Your message will reach hundreds of thousands more people then the ones you and your downline physically talk to. This is an extremely leveraged and effective way to market.
Now I'm not talking about trying to get people to go to your replicated website that every other representative in your company has. What I'm talking about is way more effective.
By using 21st century technology in your business you won't need to hype up your opportunity with a fancy business presentation in front of people who may or may not care what you have to say.
Your goal is to educate yourself on marketing and focus your efforts on composing a system that speaks to your prospects on a personal level (and not a hype-oriented way), so that your offers become more attractive. This type of system will produce much more predictable results.
Since the internet is always running and never takes a day off, your marketing system will be working for you while you are sleeping, playing golf, chasing the kids, etc.
This gives your prospects the freedom to explore and access your information whenever they chose. This style of marketing makes you look like less of a salesmen, and the only type of physical interaction you will need to have is with those who are express interest first.
To be successful building a network marketing business in the traditional way, your skill set performing presentations and recruiting techniques comes into play; plus, time becomes a serious issue. How many people can the average person talk to in one day when that person may have another job or kids to take care of? And out of the people you do talk to, how many are really interested in what you have to offer?
There is one of two ways you are going to be perceived by the public:
Either you are going to be viewed as one of those annoying people involved in a 'pyramid scheme' trying to figure out ways to approach and recruit a family member or a total stranger.
Or, you are going to be viewed as a professional. Someone who has his or her own marketing system set up that knows how to get his or her message out in an effective manner without relying on unnecessary hype and uncomfortable sales pitches.
Getting results is the main objective in any business; however, not all business models are as effective as the next. Implementing this model has been proven to get predictable results on a consistent basis.
On a final note I will speak on experience; this industry is way more enjoyable after obtaining and implementing the proper education on marketing.
